Thanks for your comment M!

As you'll see in a later post, I ended up subscribing to the Immediate Edge (and still do).

My problem (everyone's problem?) right now is lack of time and deciding which one business to focus on.

Is the Immediate Edge good? Yes.

Have I got my money's worth from it? No, because I haven't had a chance to apply any of it.

If you can dedicate time and put some work into applying the Edge then I would recommend subscribing. Otherwise, don't.

Great Post,

I too was looking at this newsletter and your comments are on point. I have gathered too much material to know which way to go. Adding more material and new techniques to perform would just set me back further.

I am impressed with the fact that you have Dale and Dan both comment on this. I know this posting has helped other. Its a bit hard to follow what Shefern talks about with some many ways to market on the internet.

Thanks and all the best,

M

Hi Dan

Thanks for posting and confirming my thoughts about the $15k challenge. But kudos to you for taking it on in the first place! And congratulations on achieving what you did (even if you didn't quite hit your target).

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Before I get started I want you to know that this post has nothing to do with Ed. Being an egotist I typed my name into Google and your post came up from a Technorati link.

I do understand where you are coming from in the post, hell some of the methods I used for the $15k don't really sit easy under my belt, but that was a challenge. Don't get me wrong, I still think methods I used are effective, and I truly couldn't say that I wouldn't use them again, but it was a means to an end, and I was just, well, marketing... This is not the usual way I do business but it did work and I am pretty much happy about that.

Hey Ed, thanks for stopping by and commenting. I'm glad you like the blog.

I have no doubt that Dan's Immediate Edge is all you say it is. But if you've managed to follow any of my previous posts you'll see that I'm trying to follow the advice of your good friend Mr. Schefren by avoiding opportunities and concentrating on one business at a time. And the one I'm working on doesn't quite fit the niche marketing mould.

It may be that I really can make use of Dan's teachings in this business (and another one I'm planning) which is why I'm still tempted.

And I fully understand the limits of the 15k challenge. As I said, I was very impressed. I wasn't trying to be critical of Dan and the challenge so much as questioning where the ethics of the approach sit with my own personal values.

Dan said himself that if he had a larger budget then he would have used these techniques less, implying (I think) that he didn't feel entirely comfortable doing it himself.

But the fact that these techniques evidently do work means that people with limited or no budget can actually be successful. And that's a good thing.

All the best,
Jonathan

P.S. If I do go for it, you'll be the first to know Ed because the whitelist 'guru' happens to be you so it'll be through your link. :-)

I have zero to profit from this.

but let me tell you Immediate edge is fantastic.

Dan had his hands tied in the 15k challenge - how else would you generate that sort of list without message board marketing in that time frame?

like i said I have zero to gain from this - I think it's the best program I have seen.

Ed

PS Love your blog!
